We provide a variety of representation including defense against criminal charges, gender affirming legal services, access to reproductive health care, family matters, record sealing, resolving warrants, and more based on an individual's ability to pay. We believe that our clients know what they need and place them at the center of our representation.
We also offer representation on civil rights issues including police violence and affirming the rights of incarcerated people. Additionally, Bread and Roses supports individuals who are operating small businesses, collectives, alternative economies, community art, and other live and resource giving projects.

We support social movements by working with activists, organizations, and affinity groups to understand their legal rights and how we can protect each other from violence, backlash, and repression. This includes criminal defense, consulting, trainings, anti-SLAPP support, and emergency response.
We also partner with movement organizations and artists to partner in creating art as well as campaigns that create systems change informed by those most impacted. Legal ClinicsWe believe that art, music, language, culture, community, and social movements are essential to the future we believe in. We partner with artists and cultural workers to create systems change that is directed by those who have been marginalized and exploited by the powers that be.
